Bred by Select Botanicals Group, Ahtanum™ Brand YCR 1 is an aroma-type cultivar used for its aromatic properties and moderate bittering. The hop is named after the location where Charles Carpenter established the first hop farm east of the Cascade Mountains in Washington State in 1869.
- Type 90 Hop Pellets – 100g, 250g, 500g and 1Kg
Crosby Type-90 Hop Pellets are a softer “craft pellet”. These pellets are approximately 20% less dense than industry standard pellets. The soft pellet comes apart quickly when used as a dry hop, and provides better hop utilization in the kettle, whirlpool and fermenter.
The low pelletizing temperatures at Crosby Hop Farm also work to preserve hop oils, aromatics, and alpha.
