D-45 is a rich translucent amber syrup. Tested in Chimay clone's and Belgian Brown Ale's. The unmistakable toffee, vanilla, and toasted flavours that are magically created from raw beet sugar are what make D-45 Candi Syrup uniquely aromatic and delicious. Exceedingly good in Brown Ales or medium Golden Ale's that require an aromatic nose and subtle flavour.

Candi Syrup works well in Belgian Beers Styles

Ordered both the D45 and D90 syrups for an all grain Belgian Abbaye Ale recipe. BeerCo were excellent to deal with and products delivered quickly, communication also excellent. Brew came out really well and the two syrups added late, offered nice colour and interesting flavours to the batch. Well worth the experiment.

Looks good should taste great about 7%

Great product to help replicate a true Belgian style beer, although a little expensive if you are planning on brewing this style on a regular basis.
